Every address checked
before you send.
Pearl addresses come in two types, Taproot and P2MR, and both end in a six-character checksum. The wallet checks the network, the type and the checksum as you paste, and points to the character that’s wrong.

One account on
Pearl and Ethereum.
Each account has a Pearl address and an Ethereum address, and the same recovery phrase restores both. Hold PEARL on one side and wPEARL on the other.
When you bridge, your own Ethereum address is already filled in, so there’s nothing to copy between apps. The wallet follows each crossing until the wPEARL arrives.

Your Pearl.
Under one roof.
Your keys stay
on your device.
Pavilion Wallet is self-custodial. Nobody at Pavilion can see your keys or move your PEARL, which also means nobody here can restore your wallet for you.
Made and kept on your device
Keys are created inside the extension and stored encrypted with your password. They never pass through a Pavilion server.
One phrase restores everything
Your recovery phrase brings back every account, with its Pearl and Ethereum addresses. Write it down and keep it offline. Pavilion will never ask you for it.
Sites have to ask
A site can read your address only after you connect it. Every signature or send it requests opens in the wallet, with the site’s full address on screen.
The whole send, before you sign
The review screen shows the recipient in groups of four, the network, the fee and the total, down to the grain. A grain is a hundred-millionth of a PEARL.
Questions about
the wallet.
Try the wallet Can I install Pavilion Wallet today?
Not yet. It’s in development. The wallet on this page runs on example accounts, so nothing in it can hold or send real PEARL.
Which browsers will it work in?
It’s being built as a Chrome extension first. iOS and Android apps are planned after that.
Which Pearl addresses can I send to?
Taproot addresses, which start with prl1p, and P2MR addresses, which start with prl1z. Those are the only two types Pearl accepts. Both are bech32m, so the wallet can tell when a character is wrong.
Why does each account have an Ethereum address?
So you can hold Wrapped PEARL (wPEARL), the Ethereum token Pavilion Bridge issues for PEARL, along with the ETH that pays Ethereum fees. Both addresses come from the same recovery phrase.
Can Pavilion move my PEARL?
No. Moving PEARL takes a signature from your keys, and your keys stay on your device. That also means Pavilion can’t restore a wallet for you, so keep your recovery phrase somewhere safe.
Can I bring a wallet I already use?
Importing a recovery phrase is planned. Before launch we’ll publish which formats work, including wallets made with Oyster, Pearl’s own wallet software.
How long does a send take?
Pearl aims for one block every 3 minutes and 14 seconds, so a send usually confirms within a few minutes. The wallet shows it as pending until it’s in a block.
